Congrats of the new episode. It seems like you are finally starting to grow the character beyond the "Sigh, I hate my job" persona. I still think he is a bit too one-dimensional, but the redeeming light to his character is his voice acting. In it, you can feel the raw and sadistic ranting coming from deep inside and I enjoy that a lot haha. It makes Mickey become more believable as a character. But as a little critique, it may be better if we actually SEE it more than hear it. The best acting in this episode was at the end part, but it was all audio that sat there with a static frame with no animation to it. It read as lazy animating or trying to slip past the work of animating by saying it was happening beyond the focus of the camera. The balance between good cartooning and great cartooning is a synthesis of the audio and the character animation and right now it's still too one-sided with audio. Your previous episodes where character interaction was viewable (like when Mickey was beating and kicking his co-worker) had more creditability to the feeling and actually made me cringe with horror as if I was watching a REAL beating (not an animated one haha). That was a great example of the animation skills you have in conveying emotion and manipulating your audience, and I hope you do more of that in the series. Anyways good luck with your cartoon as it continues; it's starting to feel like you are becoming more comfortable with it then when you did the first episode and had a lot of uncertainty in it. :)
